Lest we forget our neighbors to the North, my friend Wendy reminded me that this Saturday is the Alberrito Streets extravaganza. It is a monster block party closing off city streets in both Albany and El Cerrito.
The big two-city block party initiated last year by El Cerrito and Albany is returning this Saturday to Ashbury/Key Route with a “giant El Cerrito vs. Albany tug-of-war,” street chess, taco truck and other car-free fun in the street.
