Falcon Chicks Hatch

NOTE: This date/event is in the past. Keep browsing.

Hatch Day returns to the big screen at BAMPFA. Annie, the Bay Area’s beloved peregrine falcon who has raised young on UC Berkeley’s Campanile since 2016, has a new mate Archie…and four eggs!

The eggs are predicted to hatch on Wednesday, April 24, so stop by BAMPFA’s outdoor screen to (hopefully) catch a glimpse of the new chicks emerging during the livestream broadcast from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

A team of falcon experts will be on site to share their real-time insights about this special moment, with more details to come on activities throughout the day.
