Learn About the Eclipse!

Get ready for the Great American Eclipse! Students in 3rd-12th grade are invited to learn about the upcoming solar eclipse with Randall Allen of Night Sky Network. Participants will receive a pair of eclipse glasses courtesy of StarNet Libraries, one per person while supplies last.

No registration required. All ages and abilities welcome. For special accommodations, please contact the Library with 72 hours notice.

Randall Allen is a Citizen Scientist, Eclipse Ambassador, and Exoplanet Watch Volunteer with NASA, a volunteer at Chabot Space and Science Center, and Outreach Volunteer, Telescope Makers Workshop Volunteer, and Board Member for the Eastbay Astronomical Society.
