Come to the El Sobrante Library for a San Francisco Opera Guild’s Sing a Story program. Sing a Story is an interactive introduction to classic opera. A teaching artist will tell the story of the opera The Magic Flute, and teach a singing lesson before revealing a magic bag full of costumes and props. The entire audience will then participate in performing the opera from the beginning. Volunteers will rotate playing parts and everyone can sing in the chorus. Afterwards stay and have lunch at the library.
FREE, no registration required. The first kids to come can participate, late comers can observe. Room capacity is 49.
Recommended for ages 4-10.
