Alameda’s play center for infants and toddlers IS BACK! After a three-year hiatus, ARPD is excited to bring back Wee Play for children 6 months to 3 years old, with a caregiver. Meet in room 120 in Veterans Building.
Activities always include developmental and exploratory play, which are minimally structured, allowing children to enjoy and explore on their own terms.
Each day of the week will feature a special focus (i.e., arts & crafts, STEM/numbers/reading, creative play/dance/music). All children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or caregiver at all times.
Registration: Participants are encouraged to register online prior to their first visit to Wee Play so your child’s name will be on the roster. Adults may also register with a paper form on your first visit if you prefer. Please provide one or two emergency contacts when you register.
It is free to add your child’s name to the roster, but Daily Fees will be collected at the door (see below for Daily Fee information). Once registered, adults will be asked to sign in each day you and child attend.
Volunteers who assist with set up/clean up will receive free entrance (sign up at door; limited number of volunteers needed each day).
Wee Play will be CLOSED on the following days:

- Martin Luther King, Jr Holiday
- Presidents’ Day Holiday
- Memorial Day Holiday
- Juneteenth Holiday
- Independence Holiday
- Labor Day Holiday
- Veteran’s Day Holiday
- Thanksgiving Week
- Christmas Day Holiday
