From Memorial Day 2025 through Labor Day Weekend, a water feature at Castro Valley Community Park turns into a splash pad on weekends. During the heat of the summer, they open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, too, beginning mid June through early August.
This sprayground is totally free and is perfect for hot summer days with energetic preschoolers. To turn on the water features, press the RED button, located near the Splash Park.

- Memorial Day – Labor Day: Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays 11 am to 5 pm
- Mid June- early Aug: Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun, and Holidays 11 am to 5 pm
- Mid Aug – Labor Day: Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays 11 am to 5 pm
