Located at the corner of 73rd Avenue and Foothill Boulevard in Oakland, Liberation Park and UMOJA roller skating rink is a product of efforts by the Black Cultural Zone and its partners to retain black communities in East Oakland and provide a safe space where residents and visitors can enjoy outdoor cultural and wellness activities.
It hosts an array of cultural, community, and commercial activities an outdoor market, live music, movie nights, yoga, and other community activities. There is a very nice outdoor roller skating rink. Family roller skating is offered for free during the Akoma Outdoor Market.
