House too small for a party? Here are four venues you can rent out from Oakland Department of Parks and Recreation.
The East Oakland Sports Center– Two rental rooms allow you to have a pool party at this location. The room closest to the tricked-out swimming pool holds 24 people. The non-resident rate for weekend parties is $156 for one hour, which includes admission for 24 people, $84 each additional hour. Rates for residents are a bit lower, and weekdays are less expensive.
See that water slide dropping into the pool?
The deFremery Center is in a large Victorian on Adeline Street in West Oakland. It offers a playground, a pool, and a basic meeting room for your party. Call (510) 238-7739 for rates and details.
The Bushrod Recreation Center is located on 59th Street in the Temescal neighborhood of Oakland. Call (510) 597-5031 for rates and details.

Pingback: East Bay Kids Birthday Party Guide
I’m looking for a space for about 30 adults, 10 kids to rent for a first birthday party. It’d be nice to have a kiddo friendly spot that doesn’t break the bank. Any suggestions?
