Omnira Institute proudly presents the 9th Annual Black-Eyed Pea Festival.
On September 14, 2024, come celebrate the rich traditions of African American culture that unite people of all ages. This FREE, family-friendly community festival will bring a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere with live music, art, culture, and soul food.
The 9th Annual Black-Eyed Peas Festival at Marston Campbell Park, 17th & West Street, Oakland, CA 94607, showcases vendors dedicated to their craft and pride in creating unique handmade products. Children can unleash their creativity through various activities while vendors offer a delightful selection of sweet and savory soul foods.
Get inspired by the best of the Bay Area’s music and dance acts. The festival day comes to life with performances from midday to 6 pm, commencing with the inspiring presence of the Omnira Institute. Other talented performing acts include the Oakland School of the Arts, MJ’s Brass Boppers, and Dimensions Dance Group Theatre. Headlining this year’s event is the Grammy-nominated Andre Thierry and his Accordion Soul Music.
