Join IKEA Emeryville for the Sleep Event. Kids 12 and under can join them for a story time with a special guest, play some games and more. Some activities require RSVP and free IKEA Family membership.
Schedule of Events:
9:30am – 11am: Craft a Dream Jar
Create a dream jar full of happy thoughts for sweet dreams. Registered participants will be able to take their jar home for inspiration. Limit; one per IKEA registration.
10am – 3pm: Find FABLER
Hitta björnarna!” is how to say “find the bears” in Swedish! Join the Bear Scavenger Hunt.
Pick up your activity sheet from the greeter located in the Lobby Entrance to have fun while you shop. 10 FABLER BJÖRN bears have gotten lost and are hiding in the store. See how many bears you can spot! Each time you see a bear, make a mark for that department.

11am-12pm & 3:00pm – 4:00pm: Bed Making Contest
Races begins at 11 AM and 3 PM for IKEA Family members who preregister and check-in upon arrival. Head to the Bedrooms Department in the Showroom to check-in for the activity. Participants will be entered into a drawing for an IKEA gift card.

1pm – 1:30pm: Storytime at IKEA
Visit IKEA Emeryville for a relaxing story time activity. They’ll read a fun story suitable for children 12 and under with a special children’s gift for IKEA Family members who preregister and check-in upon arrival. Once you arrive, head to the Bedrooms Department in the Showroom to check-in for the activity.
Registration required. Must be an IKEA Family member.
5pm – 6:30pm: Dream Designs – Personalized Pillowcase Workshop
They’ll provide all the materials you need, including the pillowcase, fabric paints, and brushes. Just bring your creativity and prepare to make something unique!
Limit: 1 pillowcase per IKEA Family member registration. While supplies last.
