IN LIVING COLORS, a free West Alameda Community Arts + Culture Festival
The Maya Lin PTA and Radium Presents welcome the entire community to a West Alameda Community Arts + Culture Festival, In Living Colors. This is a FREE community event, open to the public to celebrate the many arts and cultures in the community and how you all show up… In Living Colors.
They will have live music and performances, an art gallery, interactive activities, food and drink for purchase, and fun for the entire family! In Living Colors takes place Sunday, May 18th from 12-5pm, at the beautiful Radium Runway at Alameda Point overlooking the San Francisco Bay. ALL are welcome–including kids, pets, and bikes.
Live Music + Performance
They will have live and interactive performances for the family by local artists and musicians including Mexican Folklórico Dance, West African Dance, Filipino Dance, Hula, Spoken Word, Hip-Hop, and 80s.

They will also have art onsite for display and viewing that includes:
The Maya Lin “Pup-Up” Art Gallery that displays the fun and rich work coming from our Wolf Pack of students at Maya Lin School.
In Plain Site Photography Exhibition, a tandem photo exhibit also onsite at Radium Runway that transforms Radium Runway into a giant pop-up gallery showcasing the stunning imagery from international and local photographers. Through powerful imagery, the event illuminates the pathways to a more climate-positive world. This 3-week outdoor exhibition also includes work from 4 AUSD students, further highlighting the young creative talent in our community.
For this year’s event, the first 250 registrants via Eventbrite will receive a FREE limited edition commemorative event gift.
