Week of Wednesday, September 1
9/1 The Bay Area Discovery Museum is free today (reservations required)
9/2 Poppin’ Thursday roller skate party for all ages is free.
9/3 Visit the Japanese tea garden in Golden Gate Park and get your kids to count how many koi fish they can find.
9/4 See Tangled up on the roof. RSVP in advance.
9/5 Cheer on the Cal Mens’ Soccer team in Berkeley or enjoy First Sundays & Afrofuturism in Oakland.

Week beginning Monday, September 6
9/6 Find Rosh Hashanah events for young children.
9/7 Walk, bike, or ride Inspiration Trail in Tilden Park.
9/8 Plan a playdate to Becky Temko Tot Park in Berkeley.
9/9 Eat bagels while watching for BART trains this morning.
9/10 Summer’s outdoor movies are winding down with great choices: Raya or Soul?
9/11 Commemorate the twentieth anniversary of September 11 in a way that makes sense for your children.
9/12 Too many good choices (pancake hike, open cockpit, and Solano a-Faire)!

Week beginning Monday, September 13
9/13 It’s apple season. Visit nearby orchards to get your hands on a bushel of apples before they are all gone.
9/14 Enjoy Peanuts Night at the SF Giants game.
9/15 Jump out your ya-yas at Pump It Up.
9/16 Find Yom Kippur events for families.
9/17 Piedmont Harvest Festival, Bee Talk, and an outdoor showing of Bee Movie!
9/18 Cheer on the Oakland Roots against the LA Galaxy at Laney College. Kids under 6 are free.
9/19 Visit Fairyland and enjoy the Hickory Dickory Dock show together.


Week beginning Monday, September 20
9/20 Explore the wonders of Roberts Park.
9/21 Make a day trip to the Fitzgerald Marine Tide Pools.
9/22 Play in the Glenview / Park Blvd. Neighborhood.
9/23 Find a new favorite playground with a zipline.
9/24 Fireworks night at the A’s Game.
