Messy Art Day is coming soon! Hosted by the El Cerrito Preschool Co-op, the event is open to the public with advanced reservations. Materials on hand will encourage children to explore colors, textures and a variety of media in a safe, fun and messy environment.
When we went in previous years, my kids had a blast even though they were too shy to strip down to their undies and sit in a bathtub of shaving cream, like some of the other attendees. Bring a set of dry clothes for the ride home!
Children under age 5 will explore various play stations at their own pace.
This year, the event will be Sunday, March 19th. Timeslots are available for 10 am and 12.30 pm as of this writing.
El Cerrito Preschool Co-op is located at 7200 Moeser Lane El Cerrito, CA 94530 near the El Cerrito Community Center. Some activities and food trucks will also be available on Ashbury Street, between Moeser Lane and Waldo Avenue for kids over 5.
Messy Art Day is an event for children 5 and under and their caregivers. Please no strollers inside.
