Music Classes for East Bay Kids

Let’s make music! Looking for group-based music lessons for kids or teens? Here are the Oakland, Berkeley, and Alameda programs that let kids find their sound.

We had to draw the line somewhere. Musical instruments and group-based lessons for them are totally in. Private lessons are not listed. We included choirs but excluded musical theater, so be sure to check out some other performing arts classes in musical theater or dance. If your children are younger than elementary school, have a look at our toddler and baby class guide.
