Join your friends at Hercules Library for a very special, interactive Opera Storytime with the San Francisco Opera Guild!
A teaching artist will tell the story of The Magic Flute and teach a singing lesson before revealing a magic bag full of costumes and props. The entire audience will then participate in performing the opera from the beginning. Volunteers will rotate playing parts and everyone can sing in the chorus.
Sing a Story is an interactive introduction to opera for ages 4–10, but parents and younger siblings are more than welcome to join.
