Kids events at IKEA in Emeryville

IKEA offers a supervised playroom for potty-trained kids 37 -48″ tall, where children can play for 30 minutes every day (or 60 minutes for IKEA Family club members).

Some days activities in Smaland, as the play area is titled, include a make-and-take craft project. And now, projects and activities are hosted in the kids’ furniture department, too, which is great for those of us whose kids are: too tall for Smaland; not potty-trained; or, do not willingly get dropped off at unfamiliar childcare facilities.

  1. Just looked on the site but can’t find anything. Do they have specific dates for these kid projects?
