Oakland birthday party place: Oakland Zoo

Animal-loving kids would be lucky to be invited to a birthday party at the Oakland Zoo. In addition to the regular Zoo visitor experience, families who book a birthday party will have additional special experiences.

Oakland Zoo birthday parties come in a few flavors.

  1. Picnic-style. Choose a site with tables next to the rides area. Occupy the site for up to four hours, with easy access to the Zoo. Pricing includes a number of admission tickets, ride tickets, and parking passes. If you need more, you can add them to your reservation. Bring your own food or pre-order pizza or PB&Js from the onsite cafe when you reserve your party.

  2. Educational. An animal specialist will bring age-appropriate (for ages 2-8) activities to your group in the Zoo’s birthday party room, including a live animal demonstration. Package also includes admission to zoo, party favor bags, and a few more things.

  3. Zoo-mobile. The Oakland Zoo comes to you when you book the Zoomobile. Four small animals will come with their zookeeper companion to your home during the party you are hosting. Recommended for kids 4 and up. The live animal demonstration lasts for 50 minutes.
