Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach is a delightfully quirky story that entertains all ages. Children can join James, the wizard Ladahlord, and 6 kooky human-sized insects live on stage at the Presidio Theatre as he goes on a journey of enormous proportions with lots of laughs and lessons when his giant peach goes rolling off into the sea and across the entire ocean.
Audiences will enjoy James’ quick wit and creativity as the group learns to work together, forming a close-knit, unconventional family. And they will cheer when the voyage culminates at the Empire State Building, marking the end of one journey and the beginning of lifelong friendships.
The 50-minute performance is perfect for young children and adults alike, and children can meet James and the cast for photos after the show.
The Children’s Theatre Association of San Francisco is an all-volunteer organization of women with the mission to bring live theater to school-age children.

Recommended for preschoolers through about fourth grade. Performances will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from January 26 – March 1
