IN LIVING COLORS: A FREE WEST ALAMEDA COMMUNITY ARTS + CULTURE FESTIVAL
Celebrate shared values in the arts and global citizenship at Maya Lin by coming together in joy and community at this citywide, PTA-sponsored event.
This event will showcase arts and culture in the local East Bay community and beyond—featuring art, live music, food, and performances from local families and their deep cultural histories. The event will be held at Radium Runway, generously hosted by Alameda Point, the co-sponsor.
All are welcome across ages, backgrounds, cultures, races, genders, and abilities. ADA-accessible. Bikes, scooters, skateboards, toddler, dance, and pet-friendly.
Highlights include:
• Local Bay Area alumni and Grammy-award winning musicians from OSA, Prospect
• Local funk cover band Sweet Thing
• Oakland-based Euro-Cali restaurant, Cafe da Fonk!
• Two Art Galleries featuring student and community artwork
• Art and family activities including collaborative art projects, DIY art, face painting
This event is FREE for everyone, and open to the entire public community. Please share with family and friends and help spread the love.
