Classic Pumpkin Patch in Castro Valley is at Rowell Ranch near 580, and much like the fall traditions at massive pumpkin farms in Brentwood or Petaluma, it offers carnival vibes with entertaining rides for the kids, tons of photo ops, and pumpkins of all sizes (even minis for $1!).

Classic Pumpkin Patch is spacious – ideal for kids to run around and tire themselves out. It’s free to park and to enter the property where you can enjoy the decorations and browse for pumpkins. Rides and games, including a multi-story super slide, ferris wheel, train ride, and swing carousel cost extra.
Tip: Rides can get pricey, especially with multiple kids! Set a budget or limit for the number of rides before you show up. Some snacks are available for purchase, but a good idea to bring your own food and drinks.
