Join Ronald McDonald House for a block party to celebrate the opening of their expansion. They opened the first Ronald McDonald House in Oakland in 2023 just steps from UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. What began as a 7-bedroom home for families is now growing as they’re expanding and tripling their capacity in Oakland. To celebrate the opening, they are having a block party on the street in front of the house where the whole community can come together for food trucks, live entertainment, swag, and a kid’s zone. Kids Zone
Upon entry, all kids will be given a stamp card. As they visit each Kids Zone station, they will collect stamps and receive a special SWAG bag full of goodies, thanks to our giveaway sponsors. The Kids Zone will include a Bouncy House, Face Painting, and activities provided by a wide-range of community partners.
