Many thanks to kit and sis for inviting us to this very special holiday tea experience. All opinions are our own.

Do you have a kid who likes everything a little *extra*? Is getting dressed up and heading into San Francisco sound like the perfect treat this holiday season? Well, I have one of those kids, and she nearly burst the buttons on her fluffy satin dress when she saw the Dollie + Me Holiday Tea put on by kit & sis at The Westin St. Francis in San Francisco! One word – fabulousness.
What to Expect at Dollie + Me Holiday Tea
If you’re scoping out festive holiday teas for you and your little kids, this is definitely one of the more kid-friendly options. The entire event is centered around the joy of being fancy with your dollie (or stuffie, if that’s more your jam). The first hour is for enjoying hot cocoa, delicate little sandwiches, and perfectly petite pastries. You can also strike a pose in any of the cute little Instagram-friendly scenes they have set up.
The second hour is for crafting. The enthusiastic ladies from kit & sis will lead all the kiddos in three very cute little crafts. You can stay at your table with your champagne and egg salad sandwiches while the kids work on their crafts at specially set up stations in the other half of the ballroom. The crafts aren’t all that difficult, though for those under age five, you may need to hang out nearby to assist.
After the crafting you’re free to hang out and finish up your tea. They also have several crafting kits and stocking stuffers available to purchase ($9-$40).
If You Go to Dollie and Me Tea Party
Make sure to leave yourself plenty of time for traffic and parking. What should have taken 30 minutes took us over an hour. Another family who arrived late told us it had taken them three hours to get there from Elk Grove (ouch). Maybe consider coming in earlier to the city and combining the tea with some holiday shopping. Union Square is crazy busy on the weekends this time of year, so be prepared for that.
The Bottom Line on Dollie and Me
My fancy five-year-old had a fabulous time at this very cute holiday tea. I personally enjoyed the more low-key vibe at our Claremont Holiday Tea, but my daughter had much more fun at this dollie tea. So if you’re looking for a very kid-centric high tea experience, this is the one.
