Yerba Buena Gardens is the name for two blocks of public parks located between Third and Fourth, Mission and Folsom Streets in downtown San Francisco, California. The park is a frequent site for festivals and gatherings — sometimes kid-friendly, sometimes not.
It includes a giant play structure, communal green space, public art, waterfalls you can walk behind, and borders the Children’s Creativity Museum. It is a short walk from SFMOMA and Contemporary Jewish Musem.
Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco is located adjacent to the Children’s Creativity Museum, a hands-on, multimedia art and technology experience for kids. Best for kids over 5 who can take advantage of the cartoon production, short film making, and computer studio, there are also exhibits for preschoolers.
The restored antique carousel is a separate admission price. The Yerba Buena Ice Skating + Bowling Center features year-round ice skating and 12 bowling lanes.
