Do you cringe at the amount of candy your child gets trick-or-treating? I love the fun of the Halloween experience, and I’m honestly not afraid of a night or two of over-the-top candy consumption, but the amount they get — it could last for months! Halloween candy buyback programs to the rescue! Participating dentists offer incentives in exchange for Halloween loot.

What is a Halloween candy buyback program?
Trick-or-treaters are invited to drop off their unopened candy in the days following Halloween. Kids will be paid per pound of unopened candy, which is often sent to first responders, veterans, or deployed troops abroad.
