San Francisco Public Library in partnership with the Villa Albertine, KQED, the Asian Art Museum and Circuit Network present an interactive, entertaining and information Afternoon of Ideas for families to kick off the annual Night of Ideas.
This event will be held in the Main Children’s Center and Mix Teen Center, as well as outside on Fulton Plaza, from 4-7 p.m.
This year’s event brings back Afternoon of Ideas, offering interactive and engaging activities for children and parents alike.
Highlights include:
- Tito Ramon’s Pop-up Puppet Show
- Drag Story Hour with Per Sia
- Chair Ballet Workshop by San Francisco Ballet
- Lego Printing by Arion Press
- Draw-Off with Illustrators Sendy Santamaria & Ana RamÃrez González
- Reading and writing workshop with YA author Nina LaCour
- The School of the Future
- Workshops with The San Francisco Children’s Art Center
- Alphabet Rockers will headline the family programming with an all-ages concert
