Join the Berkeley Public Library for an intergenerational folk song circle and build community through singing!
Take turns leading and learning by ear and sing a mix of old and new songs: sea chanteys, pub songs, union songs, rounds, and other chorus-rich tunes that are easy to pick up.
Come prepared to lead a song, or feel free to pass on your turn. Singers may lead from memory or with written lyrics. Please exercise respect and discretion when selecting songs; avoid sexist or racist lyrics.
Add your voice to the circle!
