In many cultures, singing together is how to teach, soothe, remember, celebrate, mourn and belong. This Family Song Circle is a space to gather in that spirit. This is a welcoming space for caregivers, children, aunties, uncles, grandparents, and chosen family to sing simple songs, share movement, and build community. They’ll share lullabies, folk songs, call-and-response chants, and simple rhythmic play inspired by ancestral traditions and contemporary family music. They’ll explore call-and-response, gentle percussion, cultural lullabies, and playful rhythms that invite participation from all ages.
No musical experience is needed — just your voice and your presence. If you have an instrument or two to bring and/or share, please do!
Registration: $5–$100 per adult, sliding scale — pay what you can. Children are FREE.
NOTAFLOF: No One Turned Away For Lack Of Funds

By us, for us. All families welcome. This month, they are donating at least half of what they gather in the spirit of mutual aid to both the location where we gather as well as UNFPA: https://www.usaforunfpa.org/donate/ which will help us rush emergency care to the Middle East, in particular Lebanon.
