Join Homegrown Habitats San Leandro for an all ages gardening program. While adults learn how to garden to support monachs and other local insects, kids can enjoy a craft activity.
Homegrown Habitats San Leandro will share how gardening with California native plants supports local insects and the birds that depend on them. Participants will learn about favorite native plants for the garden and how to create beautiful landscapes that are drought tolerant, low maintenance and thrive without garden chemicals. Kids are invited to join a craft activity, and there will be information tables to learn more.
