The Hawaiian May Day Festival is one of the longestārunning festivals outside of Hawaii, and each year it provides mainland residents the opportunity to experience the culture of Hawaii and its unique traditions right here in the Bay Area. The festival celebrates food, arts and crafts, music and live entertainment from all over the world.
Admission is free. The event takes place in Downtown Hayward near corners of B and Main Streets.
May is AAPI Heritage month.
