Come in your favorite costume and join the Castro Valley Library for a special storytime with costumed characters from Power of a Princess. You’ll hear Valentine and Princess stories, sing songs and have photo opportunities Final list of costumed characters participating will be available about two weeks before the event. Registration opens January 28.
About Power of a Princess
Power of a Princess is a student-run organization at UC Berkeley that aims to spread magic to children in need around the Bay area and beyond. Our team of princes, princesses, superheroes, and Jedi provides storytelling, crafts, sing-alongs, Q&As with characters, and much more to bring a magical experience to children in hospitals, low-income schools, or other in need groups free of charge.
Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests!
An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
