From the tippy top of Solano Avenue at The Alameda to the very bottom at San Pablo will teem with people on Sunday afternoon, September 8, 2019 during the Solano Stroll street festival.
Dance groups and community organizations will parade in the street, while local merchants and others will man booths on the sidewalk.
Food stands will be plentiful, and the restaurants that line Solano Avenue will also be open for business (and restrooms).
The street is filled with people and booths
Will parking be challenging? Probably. That’s why free shuttles will run from the North Berkeley BART station every 20 to 40 minutes starting at 10 AM. (Last shuttle returns at 7 PM.) Or just bring a stroller and plan to park several blocks away.

We feature a special area set aside just for kids that offer giant slides, carnival games, clowns, jugglers, stilt walkers, face painters, magicians, and maybe even wizards and elves — come and see for yourselves…
Rides are installed in the middle of Solano Avenue
Performances, scheduled throughout the day, will be provided by the Solano Avenue Association. Check back for updates!
Dance performances are our favorite part of the day!
