Save the Date: Oakland Art + Soul Festival (2023)

Easily accessed by BART, the Oakland Art + Soul Festival is teaming up with AfroComicCon in 2023 and will take over downtown Oakland with live music and dance performances, lots of vendors, and a kid zone from noon to 6 pm on Sunday, September 17. AfroComicCon is an innovative and interactive comic convention that combines art, tech, workshops, gaming, cosplay, fashion, writing, creativity, FLASH, webtv, film, and VR.

Free admission for everyone this year! The Dynamic Miss Faye Carol is headlining the event. Grammy-winning Alphabet Rockers will also be hitting the stage from 1:30 to 2 pm.

Beyond the activities specifically designed for kids, Oakland’s Art + Soul is usually an opportunity to see murals, gospel music, breakdancing, and other cultural treats of Oakland.
