Thanks to Prospect Sierra School in El Cerrito, CA for sponsoring this post. We are thrilled to spread the word about the exciting opportunity for four East Bay families to receive a fully funded education at Prospect Sierra.
Thanks to two new programs aimed to support equity and inclusion for children, Prospect Sierra has announced that they have two spots for incoming Kindergarten students and two spots for incoming Middle School students that will provide families with a high-quality education at no cost — covering tuition, after school care, transportation, and any additional services. From Kindergarten through Middle School, everything is included to ensure that every child has the support they need as they grow.
These programs build upon Prospect Sierra’s Flexible Tuition model, which currently supports 1 in 3 students, reinforcing their commitment to making their educational experience accessible to more families.
What Families Say
“Prospect Sierra is a place where our child truly feels supported and appreciated. The school’s emphasis on kindness and fostering meaningful connections has made a significant difference in their confidence and happiness.”
For the prospective Kindergarten family
Through a generous new partnership, funding will cover the tuition and related costs for two Kindergarten families, beginning in Fall 2025—and not just for the Kindergarten year! These families will have their entire K-8 education fully funded through this partnership, ensuring these students have everything they need to succeed throughout their time at Prospect Sierra.
For the entering 6th grade family
For families with middle schoolers, the Equity Action Program, fully funded by Prospect Sierra itself, offers full-education grants for two incoming 6th graders. These grants cover all three years of middle school, including tuition and essential services. Families will not pay any costs for their child’s education throughout middle school. This program is designed to open doors for students who may not otherwise have access to independent school education.
The EAP is part of Prospect Sierra’s long-term commitment to equity and inclusion. Launched in Fall 2024, they intend to grow this program over time and offer more families the chance to experience Prospect Sierra’s enriching Middle School education.
